We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and didn’t eat too much over the holiday. I’m about to heat up some leftovers as soon as I finish with this post! But first…I’d like to announce a new client, Elated Massage. I had a great time working on the logo and business card design for Elated Massage, which is a new massage therapy business based in downtown Huntington. I have to say that massage therapy has helped me a great deal over the last couple of years, so I’m always excited to work on projects that I know can help promote well-being and a less stressed life for others. Graphic Design Client: Massage Services

We have neglected to post any graphic design projects for a while, and I would like to remedy that now! I have been working with a local Massage Therapist on a few projects for several months. We started with a photo shoot at her office and used some of the resulting images for her personal business and for a new venture called A2 Dual Therapy. Dual Therapy is a new and exciting technique that takes the healing powers of massage and bodywork to the next level by using the focused skills of two massage therapists at once.

The following flyer was designed for A. Edwards Massage Therapy Services.

The inspiration for this logo design are the brush strokes of ancient Chinese calligraphy. Decisive strokes of light and hard pressure are used during this ancient art form, and can relate to the purposeful movements used during a dual massage.

Back in April, Patrick and I were referred to an Amish family that runs a furniture business in Gallipolis, OH. They hired us to take pictures of their handmade furniture lines and design two brochures for marketing. Here are a few of the photos and how we incorporated them into their current brochures.
