AMF Seniors on ITL again!

We are super excited to have one of our senior portrait sessions featured on Inside the Locker again! Inside the Locker is a great site to get tips and inspiration about senior portrait photography. This time around they are featuring our session with Josh, one of our Class of 2011 senior reps. Head on over and check it out. World Photography Day 2011

We want to thank everyone that stopped by to discussed photography and post images on our Facebook page during World Photography Day today! Photography is one of the art forms that I think everyone can enjoy. I know some people say they “couldn’t take a picture to save their life”, but at its core, photography allows people to stop time and capture a moment or a person and it doesn’t have to be perfectly composed or even in total focus if you ask me. So, stop thinking you can’t take a picture and just take one…you may be pleasantly surprised.

Here’s a run down of what we posted on our page, and I hope you get a chance to check out some of these photographers and information about photography. The winner of the $25 Applebees gift card was Derek G. – Congrats and thanks for taking the time to post a picture on our wall today!

On August 19th 1839, the French government announced photography as “a gift to the free world”.

Four years and counting!

This month has been pretty busy, so I haven’t had a chance to post this until now…A Modern Focus has been around for four years! A Modern Focus became an official business on July 3, 2007, and has been slowly growing its client base ever since. Patrick and I both have full-time jobs, so A Modern Focus is a part-time business that keeps things fun and interesting. We want to thank all of our past clients for choosing us as their photographers and designers. Being able to work with a variety of people is one of the reasons that I wanted to start A Modern Focus in the first place! We are looking forward to continuing to meet and work with new folks in the coming years.

Patrick and I would like to let you know that we will be participating in the Back to School Fair at the Huntington Mall on August 6th. We would LOVE for you to stop by and see us during the event to ask questions, check out some of our product samples and see our work! You will also be able to enter a drawing for a free portrait package at our table. Yes, you read that right…a FREE portrait package, which will include one hour of on-location photography and a $100 print credit. Hope to see you there!
